Hello there! I am Kristen, a wife, mother and photographer of life's best moments. I am a native of Ohio but have journeyed through Los Angeles, Seattle, San Jose, Austin and now residing in Colorado with my husband, three kids, a German Shepherd named Max and a guinea pig named Harry. As many others my story has changed course many times over the years but one thing has remained, my love for pictures. For as long as I can remember I loved having a camera around and planning out photoshoots with my friends in high school. After high school I went on to the University of Toledo and majored in Film/Video and thought for sure I would go make movies I headed to LA. In LA I ended up falling into a job within the world of commercial real estate and it served me well in creating a strong foundation for business, customer service and a love of travel.

After landing in the Bay Area and meeting a handsome guy, who's now my husband, he encouraged me to start my business. So in 2013 I founded Kristen Beccia Photography and  at that time I took any and all kinds of sessions. This was great because I got to dip my toes into the wedding industry as well as family photography and it really sparked my passion for working with babies and families. In 2018 we relocated our own family to Austin for a chance to breath and really enjoy the stage of life my little kids were at. It was there I honed my studio lighting skills before we made the move in 2024 to Colorado. 

I love a great story and know that yours is ever evolving, each year brings new seasons of life that deserve to be documented because one day you will wake up and realize how fast the years go.
